Armstrong is the cable and fiber internet, TV and phone business of the Armstrong Group, a family-owned company that Jud L. Sedwick founded in 1946 as Armstrong County Line Construction in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. It runs a 24/7 customer care center in Butler, Pennsylvania, with locally based field technicians. Service runs over DOCSIS 3.1 cable or, in select areas, fiber to the home, and its internet page, checked September 23, 2026, lists Internet 25, 500 and 1 Gig tiers. Armstrong says its network reaches more than 400,000 homes in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky and New York, and its FCC filings as of December 31, 2025 list the same six states; both are reported coverage, not address checks. Its internet page also lists no long-term contract, early termination fees or data caps, and Plume mesh Wi-Fi with the 500 and 1 Gig plans. In Armstrong's states, Konecteaze lists Xfinity in Pennsylvania and Spectrum in New York and Ohio, a ZIP-level listing, not proof either reaches Armstrong addresses.
