Xfinity lists three 5-year options for new customers with a 5-Year Price Guarantee: 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gig. Each includes unlimited data and WiFi equipment, with no annual contract. Xfinity Internet is powered by fiber and connected to premises by coaxial cable. Xfinity says the guarantee requires service at your address; which plans are offered, and at what price, depends on your address.

  • Listed prices: Listed by Xfinity (checked 2026-10-27, no address entered): $45 a month for 300 Mbps, $50 a month for 500 Mbps and $60 a month for 1 Gig, each for 5 years. Xfinity’s plan cards say “Offer ends 12/1” without giving a year; the offer is for new Xfinity Internet customers, requires autopay from a stored bank account and paperless billing, and taxes and fees are extra. Xfinity says customers who do not set up autopay with a stored bank account pay an additional $10 a month. These are Xfinity’s own listed prices, not a quote, and pricing varies by address; the guarantee covers the base monthly rate only, and taxes, fees and installation charges are extra.
  • Guarantee terms: It locks the base monthly rate for 60 months, after which regular rates apply. There is no annual contract or early termination fee, and Xfinity says the rate stays the same if you move to a new address in its service area. The 1 Gig plan also includes Peacock Premium for 2 years.
  • Data and equipment: Xfinity says its current plans have no data caps, while customers still on an older, limited data plan have a 1.2 TB monthly data limit. An Xfinity Gateway is included, with WiFi equipment at no additional cost.
  • Prepaid NOW Internet: Xfinity’s separate prepaid NOW Internet is listed starting at $30 a month, with taxes and fees included and no annual contract; Xfinity says autopay and paperless billing are required. NOW service has a stated limit of up to 200 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; this is not a speed promise for the $30 tier. Self-installation and activation of a refurbished gateway are required. What is Xfinity internet?

Xfinity is the consumer brand Comcast uses for home internet, mobile and entertainment in the United States, based at One Comcast Center in Philadelphia. Comcast's 2025 annual report says it delivers Xfinity over a hybrid fiber-coaxial network using DOCSIS 3.1, is adding DOCSIS 4.0 in select markets, and runs fiber directly to the home for some customers.

Comcast reported 65.0 million U.S. homes and businesses passed at the end of 2025, its own estimate of where its lines run rather than a check of any address. Xfinity's data-cap page, checked September 23, 2026, says new plans include unlimited data, while older limited plans carry a 1.2 TB monthly limit. Konecteaze's plan data, updated September 16, 2026, shows tiers from 300 Mbps to 2 Gig without prices, which depend on the address.

Comcast also sells prepaid NOW Internet and discounted Internet Essentials for qualifying households. Spectrum runs the same kind of hybrid fiber-coax network, and Comcast and Charter co-own the Xumo streaming venture.
