ATMC is the former name of FOCUS Broadband, a member-owned fiber internet cooperative in North Carolina whose legal name is Atlantic Telephone Membership Corporation. The ATMC name dates from 2005, the FOCUS Broadband rebrand was announced in 2022, and atmc.com now redirects to focusbroadband.com. FOCUS Broadband says it runs a 100% fiber-optic network and that the FTTH Council recognized it in 2007 as North Carolina's first certified Fiber-Connected-Home provider.
It lists service in 10 counties, including Brunswick, Columbus, Robeson, Pender and Chowan, and FCC filings as of December 31, 2025 show it only in North Carolina; both are reported coverage, not address checks. Its plan page, checked September 23, 2026, lists no contract and no data caps, 2 Gig and 5 Gig plans that need a wired connection for full speed, and no self-install for new connections.
In FCC data, Spectrum reports service in 55 of FOCUS Broadband's 63 census places.
