Compare the right plan

The plans below are AT&T Fiber tiers. AT&T Internet Air and older copper service are different products, with different availability and performance.

Match the actual fiber tier

Fiber 300, 1 Gig and 5 Gig are different speed tiers; the highest speed is not included at the lowest price. Current AT&T promotions depend on the address, new-customer status, and eligible AutoPay/paperless or wireless discounts.

AT&T plans at a glance

AT&T offers different types of home internet, including AT&T Fiber and AT&T Internet Air, depending on your location. AT&T says AT&T Fiber has a range of plans up to 5 Gig speeds. It describes AT&T Internet Air as one plan for wireless home internet over the AT&T 5G network. Listed by AT&T (2026-10-12): not all speeds are available in all areas, and Internet Air is not offered everywhere; which plans are offered, and at what price, depends on your address.

  • Listed prices: Listed by AT&T (checked 2026-10-12, no address entered): its home internet page lists AT&T Fiber with unlimited 300 Mbps internet for $50 a month, and its Internet Air page lists AT&T Internet Air starting at $55 a month. AT&T says the $50 Fiber price is after a $10 a month discount with eligible AutoPay and paperless billing (within 2 bills), with taxes and fees extra, and that availability is limited. AT&T’s Internet Air page says the $55 price requires AutoPay and paperless billing, with taxes and fees extra, while its home internet FAQ lists Internet Air as low as $47 a month plus taxes with eligible wireless service. These are AT&T’s own listed prices, not a quote, and pricing varies by address; AT&T says pricing depends on speed, availability, market and available discounts.
  • AT&T Fiber speeds and setup: AT&T says its speeds are based on a wired connection and actual speeds may vary; for 5 Gig, the single-device wired maximum is 4.7 Gbps. AT&T describes hyper-gig as a group of its highest-speed plans and says they include AT&T All-Fi, its Wi-Fi service. Listed by AT&T (2026-10-12): hyper-gig has limited availability in select areas. AT&T says Fiber installation may require a technician to come to your home and typically takes four to six hours.
  • AT&T Internet Air: AT&T says Internet Air is an unlimited connection with no data caps, and comes with no annual contract, no overage fees and $0 self-setup with included equipment. AT&T also says that in rare cases, if your usage is contributing to network congestion, it will greatly reduce your speed for at least 30 minutes, and that it may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy. Listed by AT&T (2026-10-12): 5G coverage is not available everywhere, and LTE coverage may be used depending on signal. AT&T says Internet Air is backed by the AT&T Guarantee: if an outage drops your connection, your bill drops too, with a credit for downtime lasting 20 minutes or more; restrictions and exclusions apply.

Checked against att.com on 2026-10-12: AT&T’s home internet page, its AT&T Fiber page and its AT&T Internet Air page, with no address entered. Hands-on: none claimed.

What is AT&T internet?

AT&T, headquartered in Dallas, sells home internet under two brands: AT&T Fiber, a fiber-optic service with equal upload and download speeds, and AT&T Internet Air, a 5G fixed wireless service. Konecteaze's plan data, updated September 16, 2026, shows 300 Mbps, 1 Gig and 5 Gbps AT&T Fiber tiers, with 5 Gig in select areas and prices set by address.

On February 2, 2026, AT&T closed its purchase of Lumen's consumer fiber business, which AT&T said extends AT&T Fiber to 32 states and adds more than 4 million fiber locations in 11 states, including the Denver and Seattle areas; that is provider-reported coverage, not an address check.

Att.com, checked September 23, 2026, lists no annual contract and no data caps for both, no gateway fees for AT&T Fiber, and included equipment with free self-setup for Internet Air, though heavy Internet Air users may be slowed during congestion. In Austin, San Antonio, Madison and Evansville, December 2025 FCC data shows both AT&T and Spectrum reporting service at most homes.
