Updated September 17, 2026. Spectrum and AT&T both sell home internet, but the useful comparison starts with your service address. Spectrum's current standalone Internet tiers have a one-year introductory price; AT&T may offer fiber, 5G-based Internet Air, or another service depending on the address. Check the exact offer and Broadband Facts label before choosing.

Which AT&T service can you get?
AT&T Fiber is a fiber connection to the home. AT&T advertises Fiber 300, 500 and 1 Gig, with faster tiers in some areas. AT&T Internet Air uses a 5G wireless connection, so it is a different choice from Fiber. The available product, speeds and price depend on your address and the current offer. Because AT&T's promotions and qualification terms can change, use its address check and Broadband Facts label for a current price rather than an old comparison chart.
How the options compare
- If upload speed matters: Compare the upload figure on each offered plan's Broadband Facts label. An AT&T Fiber address may have a stronger upload option than a Spectrum Internet address, but the exact tiers still matter.
- If monthly cost matters: Compare the full first-year and later monthly bills. For Spectrum, include Advanced WiFi only if you choose it on a 100 or 500 standalone plan, and check any activation or installation charge. Ask AT&T for the same fee breakdown on the specific Fiber or Internet Air offer.
- If setup matters: Check whether self-installation is available at your address, whether a technician is needed, and when your promotional price ends. Save the offer and Broadband Facts label shown at checkout.
Start with the Spectrum overview and AT&T overview. Then confirm both providers' exact-address offers. A city or ZIP match alone cannot promise service at a home.
