The listed one-year prices are for new residential customers; after one year, Spectrum says standard rates apply. Internet 2 Gig is limited to select markets.

Internet Assist is different

Assist is a separate 50 Mbps application for households meeting Spectrum eligibility rules. Do not assume an Internet 100 offer means your household qualifies for Assist or its lower rate.

Spectrum calls the service Fiber-Powered Internet: Spectrum Internet® is powered by fiber and connected to the premises by coaxial lines. Every current Spectrum Internet plan includes a modem at no extra cost and has no data caps. Spectrum says pricing and actual speeds may vary, and that it needs your address to find offers in your specific location; which plans are offered, and at what price, depends on your address.

  • Listed prices: Listed by Spectrum on spectrum.com (checked 2026-10-29, no address entered): Internet 100 at $30 a month, Internet 500 at $40 and Internet 1 Gig at $60, each for one year; after one year, standard rates apply. What is Spectrum internet?

Spectrum is the brand Charter Communications uses to sell home internet, TV, mobile and voice service, and Charter is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. Spectrum calls its standard service Fiber-Powered Internet: Spectrum Internet® is powered by fiber and connected to the premises by coaxial lines, and some areas get 100% Fiber service instead.

Charter reports that Spectrum reaches more than 70 million homes and businesses in 45 states (as of June 30, 2026, counting former Cox areas); that is provider-reported coverage, not an address check. Spectrum.com, checked September 23, 2026, says every plan includes a modem and has no data caps. Konecteaze's plan data, updated September 21, 2026, lists 4 tiers: Internet 100, 500, 1 Gig and 2 Gig, with 2 Gig in select markets only.

Charter completed its transaction with Cox Communications on August 20, 2026, and since mid-September former Cox markets have had access to the same Spectrum products, pricing and packaging. Xfinity uses the same hybrid fiber-coax network type, according to Comcast's 2025 annual report.
