Windstream home internet is now sold as Kinetic, formerly Kinetic by Windstream, a fiber and copper DSL internet brand whose parent company is Uniti Group Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas. Windstream.com now redirects to gokinetic.com.
Kinetic's site, checked September 23, 2026, markets fiber plans up to 2 Gig along with phone and TV, but FCC data as of December 31, 2025 counts about 1.45 million fiber locations and 1.70 million copper DSL locations, so much of the network is still copper DSL. Kinetic says it serves homes in 18 states, from Alabama to Minnesota and New York, and its FCC filings cover the same 18; both are reported coverage, not address checks.
The site also lists no annual contracts, no data limits, free installation on fiber plans and an eero Pro 7 Wi-Fi 7 router option. In FCC data, AT&T reports service in 1,270 and Spectrum in 404 of the 2,036 census places where Kinetic reports service.
